Coronavirus - Club Closure
Hampden Park (Eastbourne) Bowling Club
To all Members
Keeping all our members up to date on the coronavirus situation and how it is affecting our club is important. I feel you all need to be kept informed on how it relates to our current situation, plus the way it has affected the club as a whole.
Due to advice and guidelines set out by both the government and Bowls England, the club will be closed as of now; this means no bowling meetings or social events on the premises, until the situation changes. The closure will be reassessed on the 1st May and every month from then hopefully allowing the club to open either fully or partially sometime in the future, we will keep all informed.
ALL MATCHES & COMPETITIONS
All inter club, touring sides plus all competitions including county, town and league are postponed until further notice. Further advice regarding these will be given as soon as any changes are known.
The greens are being maintained in order to keep them ready and prepared for as soon as we are advised we can start to bowl in any form.
Please be advised it is important to the club, all our members are both safe and secure. Through this if any member has any problem during self-isolation then please call either our welfare officer Janice 1323 325068, Jill Ladies Captain 01323486009 or myself Chairman 07834625865, and we will try to help with your problem.
As soon as l or the club receive any information, we will inform you all. Please remember we have an up to date web site (hampdenparkbowlsclub.co.uk) plus a monthly news letter
Keep safe and well
